One area that is often behind the scenes but a key driver in a timely telemedicine program start is the process of credentialing telemedicine providers. Many telemedicine companies outsource their program to save costs. At Eagle Telemedicine, better results and consistent support means we do it ourselves. Eagle’s differentiators in credentialing and licensing are relatively straightforward but pay dividends in the long run:
Our providers are Eagle Certified™
Eagle Certified™ providers have gone through extensive internal vetting and diligence to make it on our roster. With all these details constantly maintained and updated in our database and software, credentialing and licensing is much easier. All of our providers go through this process in order to become part of the Eagle family of telemedicine providers.
We select from the best to credential and license concentrated pods of physician for each program
At Eagle, we have concentrated pods of telemedicine providers that support our programs. As a result, we make the credentialing and licensing process much easier for everyone. We want all of our providers to become an engrained part of your medical staff family.
Teamwork makes the telemedicine dream work
Upon contract execution with a new client site, an initial credentialing call is set up between Eagle’s Director of Credentialing along with key stakeholders at the client site in the Medical Staff Office (MSO) and Credentials Verification Organization (CVO), if applicable. The initial credentialing call typically lasts about 30 minutes and is a time for Eagle to gather important information regarding the client site’s credentialing process as the implementation process begins.
This initial call covers general information regarding the credentialing process such as obtaining the application from the client site; applicant and privilege requirements; and average credentialing timeline as well as approval process. Also discussed are credentialing documentation requirements as well as a detailed review of the verification process for the MSO and/or CVO.
Small teams are smart
We assign a small team to support the credentialing and licensing process, so everyone has a clear path of contact and collaboration. You’ll always know who’s on first with our credentialing and licensing team.
Complete file promise
At Eagle, when we submit a hospital application or the CVO or MSO, those come with the Eagle guarantee that you will have a complete file, ready to process. This makes your whole verification and processing time quicker and more efficient.
