Starting with Rural Telemedicine. Growing to Serve Hospitals of All Sizes.
In the beginning, Eagle’s focus was rural telemedicine serving smaller hospitals. At the time, these hospitals lacked physician coverage which limited the hospital’s ability to care for patients. TeleHospitalist coverage was often the number one way that rural telemedicine solved doctor shortages at community hospitals.
Today, Eagle Telemedicine serves both urban and rural hospitals. Large metropolitan and urban hospitals have different needs than our rural clients, but telemedicine can still address many of the challenges at these hospitals. In this video, Dr. Talbot ‘Mac’ McCormick, CEO at Eagle Telemedicine, discusses how we adapt our services to meet the needs of hospitals – big and small – across the country.
